Singapore - HK - Macau (October 2 - 19, 2009)

In my most misplanned trip, I managed to travel to three different countries in 1 month. I also managed to resign from my job after 2 months of suffering from allergies at the office since the project I was working on had just ended. So right now, I'm just working on my long-postponed masteral thesis.

Actually, the original plan was to find myself a job in Singapore but being unable to find a job, I just decided to work on my thesis first before embarking on another job hunt.

So the trip to Singapore mostly covered sending out resumes, talking to HR, to my sister and, visiting old friends Shils, Kristian, Isaac, Romano, Wayne, Marc, and Caroline. I had two interviews for Company1 and Company2. I passed Company1, but Company2 has not yet responded. For more than a week, I just stayed at my sister's place, let her treat me dinners, and wait for possible interviews.

At HK, on the other hand, the whole family gathered together to attend my cousin's wedding. I mostly rode along my brothers and sister, where we stayed at City Garden Hotel. We went to Lantau Island, Victoria Peak, enjoyed the city lights and toured around both upscale and downtown HK.

Trip to Macau was a 2-day 1-night stay at the Venetian Hotel. The hotel was nice indeed. I just love the food especially the egg tarts, and the ambience in the whole of Macau. Of course, what would Macau be without the casinos right? But I was really just after the nice views of the buildings at night :)
